Using rechargeable batteries in my DR40
I am thinking about getting a set of rechargeable sony cycle energies AA's for my dr40. They are 2000mah. About how long will they last?
Re: Schoeps Mk5?
I see that the OP's question about the reliability of the pattern switching mechanism has gone unanswered. This mechanism is quite simple and straightforward, and I've never heard of any case in which it failed to work unless the capsule had been disas...

I'm like a broken record when it comes to fluffing these, but I suggest the Audio-Technica ATH-M50. Closed back monitor headphones that are very accurate and durable. Having used most of the industry standard studio cans over the years (Sony 7506, Se...

Re: SONY HDR-CX190
After doing ALOT of research, I ended up buying an hx9v. You can get one used for below $250. What I liked: 16x zoom; high quality video; stabilization; small and compact. The 29 min limit is the only real negative I saw. I synch audio, so having m...
Re: Recommends for Wilco at Onmegang Brewery

Re: Speaker Cable test... sort of.
Interesting. Not in that any reliable conclusions can be made from this about wires. But partly in that these tests never seem to be setup or conducted by people who actually understand statistical analysis.. and more so in that the majority of parti...

Tascam DR2D vs DR07MKII - or just get an M10?
I'm trying to find the right portable recorder. I have an M-Audio Microtrack II, which I want to replace for numerous reasons, primarily the battery problems and the fact that it uses a proprietary battery that I can't replace in the field. I'm traveli...

As acidjack previously mentioned in this thread, you might want to PM hi and lo regarding stealthing with side addressed Schoeps. He had a rather ingenious setup when he ran 4V's.
